“And by means of this Epitaph, we strive to praise the Mother of God and have piety and humbleness Her Most Holy icon in procession around the church. Although we express our lament and sorrow in these hymns, yet the Virgin Most Pure urges us not to mourn, but rejoice that once She is raised to Heaven, she shall be closer to Her Son and God, whom She shall ask with greater easement to be gracious to us”.(Prof. Univ.
