As it is known, the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church declared the year 2010 as a year of the “Symbol of Faith”, due to the 1,685 years since the first meeting of the first Ecumenical Council of Nicaea in 325, when the first seven articles were drawn. Obviously, the positive response of the Faculties of Theology, of the professors and students follows the line of these recommendations of the Holy Synod to commemorate this year the Nicene—Constantinopolitan Creed. Therefore, the theme has been very generous of great importance for our orthodox faith and universal churchy historiography.
